Nice to meet you. My name is Eric McCoy. Some people call me E. IMDB calls me E.M. You can call me whatever you like. The first thing you should know about me is that I run a tight ship. I'm here to help director's make their days and creative teams make their boards. I take this work that I love seriously, but don't take myself seriously at all. I started my career in Los Angeles as the 3rd assistant to an Executive Producer at Lionsgate named Barry Rosen. Many humbling and fruitful learning experiences followed, but I learned a lot, and eventually became an associate producer on some fun tv shows that gave me a chance to travel around the world doing what I love. I also wrote two scripts that were sold and produced by Starz Media in 2013-14. Fun fact: the first screenplay I ever sold was produced as a tv movie starring Burt Reynolds in one of his final roles. 

Cue the epic montage as I completely sell out and I switch my focus to advertising and begin producing commercials at a vigorous and enthusiastic pace. I've had the honor and pportunity to produce fun spots for Coke Zero, Bud Light, Powerade, and more. I quickly fell in love with the pace, the process, and the camaraderie between the Creative and Production teams in the ad agency world. So, for the past ten years, I have been working as an Agency Producer, Senior Producer, Executive Producer, and most recently Head of Production at Dynamite Picture Co where I also direct spots for brands like Taco Bell, Cinnabon, BMW, Le Labo and more. Dynamite is a Production outfit and Ai-Integrated Post Shop with offices in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. We produce an average of 30-40 mid-sized integrated campaigns (Broadcast/CTV/Paid Social/OOH) per year for big Fortune 500 clients, mid-sized companies, and challenger brands alike. I have loved every moment of the journey building Dynamite into a world-class production company.

Well, besides that naval gazing hagiography you just endured above, I also am mostly just a normal dude with a lovely wife who runs restaurants and a feisty dog.  Besides all things cinema, my hobbies include an obsession with and appreciation of Italian motorcycles, German lenses, Japanese cuisine, French history, competitive backgammon and GO, and reading copious amounts of Montagne.
